Dear Brothers and Sisters in Rome and throughout the world, good morning and happy Christmas!
I do my the song of the angels who appeared to the shepherds of Bethlehem on the night Jesus was born. A song that unites heaven and earth, driving to heaven praise and the glory, and the land of men, wishes for peace.
I invite everyone to join with this song, this song is for every man and woman sailing at night, which has hope for a better world, that takes care of the other looking humbly do his duty.
Glory to God.
The first thing Christmas draws ask ourselves is this: give glory to God, for He is good, it is true, is merciful. On this day, I wish all that can recognize the true face of God the Father who gave us Jesus. I wish you all that you can feel that God is near, may be in his presence, to love Him, worship Him.
May each of us give glory to God especially through life with a life spent for love of Him and siblings.
Peace to men.
True peace - as we know - there is a balance between opposing forces; is not a pretty "front", behind which there are contrasts and divisions. Peace is a commitment every day, but peace is handmade, takes place from the gift of God's grace that He has given us in Jesus Christ.

Boy O God, give peace to the Central African Republic, often forgotten men. But you, Lord, do not You forget anyone and intend to bring peace to this land also, torn by a spiral of violence and poverty, where many people are homeless, without food or water, without the minimum to live. Favor harmony in South Sudan, where the current tensions already caused too many victims and threaten the peaceful coexistence that young state.
You, O Prince of Peace, turn all over the hearts of the violent, to lay down their weapons and to take the path of dialogue. Look Nigeria, torn apart by continual attacks that do not spare innocent or helpless. Bless the Earth have chosen to come into the world and do reach a happy ending peace negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians. Heal the wounds of the beloved Iraq, still often hurt by attacks.
You, Lord of life, protect all those who are persecuted because of your name. Give hope and comfort to the displaced and refugees, especially in the Horn of Africa and the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. Grant that migrants in search of a decent life be welcomed and help. That never happen tragedies like those we have seen this year, with numerous deaths in Lampedusa.
O Child of Bethlehem, blow the hearts of all those involved in trafficking in human beings, for they realize the seriousness of this crime against humanity. Turn your gaze to the many children who are kidnapped, injured and killed in armed conflicts and how many are turned into soldiers, deprived of their childhood.
Lord of heaven and earth, look upon this planet, that greed and ambition of men often exploit indiscriminately. Assist and protect those who are victims of natural disasters, especially the beloved Filipino people, severely hit by the recent typhoon.
Dear brothers and sisters, today, in this world, this humanity, was born a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Let us pause before the Child of Bethlehem Let us allow our heart will touch:. Not be afraid of it. Do not be afraid that our heart will touch! We need our heart will touch. Let him burn by the tenderness of God; we need your touch. The caresses of God do not make wounds: the caresses of God give us peace and strength. We need your touch. God is great in love; Him, praise and glory for ever!
